Follow these simple steps for cleaning your microwave oven:

- Ensure that the electric supply to the microwave oven has been turned off and the machine is unplugged from the socket before cleaning.
- Wipe out the interiors and exteriors frequently and regularly to maximize efficiency.
- Mop up spills and splashes as soon as they occur, as spilt food and splashes will slow down the cooking process the next time the microwave oven is used.
- Removable parts like the turntable, turntable shaft should be washed with warm water and a mild detergent. Remember to dry these parts completely before placing them back into the oven cavity.
-
If the cavity walls are heavily soiled, boil 250 ml of water in a microwave safe bowl / mug at 100% power 4 - 5 minutes, the steam produced will soften stubborn stains which can then be wiped away with a soft cloth.
-
To remove lingering odors from your microwave oven, place a few lemon slices in a bowl containing 250 ml water. Boil at 100% power for 4 - 5 minutes, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Do not use any abrasive cleaners on any part of the microwave oven and never use a sharp object like a knife to clean away grease and stubborn stains.
- Never allow water or any cleaning liquid to enter any vents inside or outside the oven cavity.

- To clean stubborn stains use a mild liquid cleaner only
